After fishing in northern waters for many years, I felt that I could do "ok" catching fish in most any lake or stream. While at Big Lake Wilderness Lodge the manager suggested Nate to help me find some walleye, which seemed to be non-existent in the area lakes at that time. I met Nate at the ramp and in two hours we had two limits of walleye. This was not a stroke of luck. It was very obvious that Hommerding knew exactly what he was doing with the right presentations at the right times and places until the cooler was full.
